Minutes

 Dave made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 20, 2009 meeting.  Jeff seconded the motion which was approved unanimously.

Facility Maintenance

 Greg will check with the City and County to see what contribution they can make toward  mowing and complex maintenance for the coming year. 

Training

 Kelly Hudspeth has agreed to attend the State Assignors training and MCYSA will pay for this session. 

Chris will represent MCYSA at the Coaches Training.

Registration

 Dave reported that walk up registration is scheduled for March 21 & 28, 2009 at the complex.  He expects on line registration to be operational very soon.  Dave will send out an email to let everyone know when on line registration is available.  Dave mailed out approximately 872 registration forms for the spring 09 season.

Field Configuration

 Greg and Brett will meet at the complex on Saturday and determine the best configuration for fields based on conditions and need. 

Coaching Certification

 Chris reported that the McCracken County E Coaching certification class was confirmed for March 27 – 29, 2009 at the Sportsplex.  MCYSA needs a minimum of 15 people to register.  Completion of the KYSA Youth Module is suggested.

Dave will send out an email regarding the upcoming Murray Youth Module.  McCracken County coaches that complete this course will be eligible for one free registration.   

Scheduling

 Mike Still has inquired about the Ballard County recreational teams playing with MCYSA.  The Board agreed to include Ballard County and asked that scheduling information be forwarded to Jeff.  It was noted that all teams participating with MCYSA must be affiliate KYSA.
