Minutes After a brief review of the March 11, 2008 meeting minutes Brett made a motion to approve them as written. Dave seconded this motion and it passed unanimously.
Registration Dave reported that the Association has approximately 320 recreational and 190 competitive players registered at this time. These numbers are expected to increase because registration has not yet closed.
Treasurer Brett presented the MCYSA financial report for the period ending February 29, 2008. The Association had $331 in concession stand revenue on the March 22, 2008 CCL day. Mark moved to approve the financial report as presented and Dave seconded the motion with all present voting yes.
Referee Greg reported that an Association team had cancelled games at the complex on March 30, 2008 due to the wet field conditions. This game was rescheduled for the sportsplex and the team had asked the Association to pay for one referee for this game. It was the consensus of the Board that such requests would be considered on a case by case basis when rescheduling was necessary due to weather.
Complex It was agreed that two 2’ wide traffic calming strips would be purchased and installed at the complex. The Board also agreed to purchase a fatigue pad for the concession stand.
CCL Day Carl reported that things went well for the MCYSA CCL day. The Board agreed to refund fees to two teams that had no other teams to play in their age group. It was also agreed that refunds would not be issued to teams that cancelled after the schedule was posted.
Greg noted that he had received a red card report and that it would be sent to KYSA and the player’s home association.
