January 8, 2008 Board Meeting Minutes

Attendence: Brett Draffen, Craig Peavey, Greg Holtgrewe

Referee Certification Clinic: MCYSA is hosting a new referee certification clinic on January 18, 19 and 20, 2008 at the Concord Fire Department. Individuals interested in certifying should sign up at kyreferee.com.

Web Site: MCYSA recently learned that KYSA will no longer be able to host the Association’s web site. Lee Blackburn and Brett Draffen are exploring options to get McCracken County’s web site up as soon as possible so spring 2008 information can be posted.

Items that need to be posted immediately are the upcoming new referee certification class, youth module (March 30, 2008) and the Association spring schedule.

MCYSA Meeting Site: Greg has scheduled the West Kentucky Community and Technical College Club room through June 2008 for all MCYSA Board meetings. All meetings will begin at 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted.

Player Development Seminar: KYSA is hosting a player development seminar on February 16, 2008 in Oldham County. Contact adrianparrish@kysoccer.net by February 12, 2008 to register.

MCYSA Spring Registration Mail Out: Any information that needs to be included in the MCYSA Spring Registration mail out should be forwarded to Dave Althouse by January 14, 2008.

Financial: Brett has contacted Sean Walsh about the need to close out the MCYSA books in the near future. Brett will be assuming the role of Treasurer for MCYSA.
